The launch was attended by the Hon. Cheryl Edwardes, Minister for the Environment, conference patron the Hon. Phillip Pendal, MLA, Member for South Perth, and representatives from each of our sponsors, including some special guests from Fairbridge. We gave the guests a preview of the official Kids Helping Kids song composed by Eva-Marie Middleton, and a quick snippet of a 23 minute documentary being made on Kids Helping Kids by Christain Saunders of Small Time Digital. All in all, the launch was a great success, with Kids Helping Kids getting airtime on a national television broadcast from Channel 10, including the KHK Conference Info Hotline being shown! Panel Members Attend Malaysian Water Conference! In early May this year, 5 KHK Panel members attended a Malaysian Environmental Conference on Water, organised by the group of Malaysian delegates at the 1st and 2nd Kids Helping Kids conferences. The panel members were: William Sippe, Gary Butcher, Eva-Marie Middleton, Lauren Chapman and Alyson Dear. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves and learnt a lot of new and interesting information.
